Student of the Month for May!

Congratulations to Marc Mitzner, our student of the month for May!  Marc is 50 yrs. old and has been doing martial arts for seven years!  He says he started classes because he had always wanted to try it and that his daughter, Eva(who is a brown belt) asked him to join the class with her.  His favorite part of martial arts classes is kobudo(weapons) and teaching and giving back to others!  Marc is also an assistant instructor who helps with the kids classes and wherever else he is needed.  Marc often helps with demonstrations and as a competitor has won numerous medals on the state, regional, and national level!  Marc is employed through Duke and works in graphic design and print production.  Outside of class, Marc enjoys painting, drawing, and photography!  His favorite food is pastrami on rye.  Marc is an all around student, participating in karate/jujitsu, kobudo, iaido(sword) and kumite(sparring classes)!  It is a honor having Marc as our student of the month!
