Student of the month for September 2018!

Congratulations to Ava Bishop, our student of the month for September 2018!  Ava is 8 yrs. old and is a 3rd grader at Pathways Elementary School!  She has been training for 3 months and just recently tested for her yellow belt!  Ava started training for self-defense, to be able to take care of herself!  She was encouraged by her dad who is a former student of Sensei Gurganus.  Ava’s favorite part of training is sparring and kata!  Her favorite subject in school is math!  Ava’s favorite food is Chinese, especially egg drop soup!  Outside of karate she enjoys playing with friends and riding her four wheeler and scooter!  Ava is a hard worker and can always be found practicing before class starts!  Great job Ava, keep up the good work!
