Student of the month for Dec. 2018!

Congratulations to Anya Rumbach, our student of the month for Dec. 2018! Anya is 11 years old and is in the 5th grade at the Montessori School of Durham! Her favorite subject is science. Anya has been training at CMAC for 2 years! She says she started martial arts after her parents were looking for a new activity for her to try! She had recently been diagnosed with autism and her parents found that she would be welcome at CMAC! She thought that martial arts would be cool and gave it a try! Her favorite part of training is Iaido, she says, “I really like the sword”! Her favorite food is pizza! Outside of class she enjoys listening to music, reading, and playing video games. Anya recently tested for her green belt and is responsible for getting her dad to start training. Great job and a terrific way to end the year!
