Student of the month for Feb. 2019!

Congratulations to Tray Batson, our student of the month for February 2019! Tray, 52, has been training since August 2016! Tray is a music teacher for The Raleigh School and Montessori Day School of Chapel hill! He is also a music therapist for Duke Children’s Hospital! Tray says he was always interested in the martial arts and decided to give it a try after watching his son Atticus(a CMAC brown belt) for several years! Tray participates in karate, kobudo, and sparring classes, he also helps with kid’s classes on Mondays! His favorite part of training is the dojo atmosphere and the feeling of training with a group and all the energy(ki) in the room! He is a life long musician that plays in several local bands and fronts the popular area band Baron Von Rumblebuss! His favorite food is a ham and cheese and Funyuns!!! Great job and well done! Tray is always a hard worker and great training partner!
