Student of the month for November 2019!

Congratulations to Robbie Matthews, our student of the month for November 2019! Robbie is 7 years old and is a first grader at Hope Valley Elementary School! He has been training at Carolina Martial Arts Center since January 2019! He got interested in taking classes after meeting Sensei Gurganus in his kindergarten class and seeing a demo at Hope Valley Elementary for multi-culture night. His favorite part of martial arts class is doing kata and playing the different martial arts games! Outside of class Robbie likes to read and cook, mom says that he is great at getting the rice ready for a meal! His favorite food is…..roasted broccoli, wow and yummy! Robbie’s advice to others is to always practice at home or you might forget! Robbie pays a lot of attention to details and it has shown up especially when he practices his turns in his katas! Great job Robbie!
