Student of the month for July 2020!

Congratulations to Ava Bishop, our student of the month for July 2020! Ava is 10 years old and has been training at CMAC since July 2018! She is in the 5th grade at Pathways Elementary School in Hillsborough where her favorite subject is math! Ava started training to learn self-dense and was encouraged by her dad who was a student of Sensei Gurganus way back in 1984 when he was a teenager! Ava really enjoys training in kata and working on sparring techniques! Ava loves Chinese food, especially egg drop soup. Outside of class she enjoys playing with her friends and riding her four wheeler! Ava has been very consistent with her training, even with online and outside training she is always present! Ava is currently working on her green belt and is always training hard. This is Ava’s second time getting the student of the month award!
