Student of the month for March 2021!

Congratulations to Ben Smedley, our student of the month for March 2021! Ben has been training at CMAC since November of 2020 and just recently tested for his 9th kyu yellow belt! He is 13 years old and is in the 7th grade at Immaculata Catholic School! His favorite subject is social studies. He got interested in karate after watching his dad workout and do kata! Ben’s favorite part of training is Goshin-do kata, he knows Shoden Ichi and has gotten pretty good at it! Ben is active in scouting and enjoys playing the drums, video games, and gardening! Some of his favorite foods are spaghetti, sushi, and salad. Ben has always been a hard worker whether he was virtual or in person! He says “to keep pushing hard even when you think you can’t do it.” Great job Ben, keep up the good work!
