The 3rd Kuniba-kai International Zoom training on May 1st!
Kuniba-kai International held its 3rd Zoom training on Saturday, May 1st! There were 22 countries represented and over 200 participants! Three Kuniba-ryu instructors taught training sessions on kihon, kata, and kumite drills. Hanshi Darren Myers from Virginia started things off with basics and the review of the kata Go Ho No Uke, Shi Ho No Ho, and Empi Roppo! Next was Hanshi Ky Buon Tang from Sweden who taught Go Ho No Uke Ni with applications and partner drills. Soke Kozo Kuniba of Osaka, Japan finished things out with partner sparring drills that emphasized timing, balance, proper posture and defense against kicks! After training there was a meeting or all head instructors to discuss future trainings! Great sessions all around and we are looking forward to the next one already!
