30 years of CMAC!

August of 2021 marked the 30th anniversary of Carolina Martial Arts Center here in Durham!!! Sensei Gurganus has been teaching in Durham since January 1984! In 1991 he founded Carolina Martial Arts Center! We started out in May 1991 in the drama room at UNC-Chapel Hill and then the fencing room. We then officially opened on 9th Street inside of AcroSport as Carolina Martial Arts Center in August! From October 1991 until April 2019 we occupied 3 different dojo locations on Guess Road! We have been at our current location on Hillsborough Road seen since April 2019!
