Student of the month for December 2021!

Congratulations to Brian Bishop, our student of the month for December 2021! Brian first started training in 1984 at a dojo that Sensei Gurganus was teaching at here in Durham, where he reached brown belt! He started training again in 1992 at Carolina Martial Arts Center in preparation for a new job. He started training again in August of 2021 after is daughter Ava received her green belt, that was their deal with each other, so that they could come to the adult class together! Brian enjoys all aspects of training, especially when it is hands on. His favorite food is Chinese and anything that his wife cooks! Outside of class he enjoys spending time with family and friends, running and fixing things. Brian enjoys a career of serving the public! It’s great to have Brian training again, Sensei use to take him home from sparring class when he was a teenager! The circle continues….
