Student of the month for May 2022!

Congratulations to Robert Kistler, our student of the month for May 2022! Robert started training at Carolina Martial Arts Center in July of 2013! He is currently a 4th kyu green belt preparing to test for his brown belt this year! Robert is retired from the United States Postal Service. Robert got interested in training after his sons started taking classes and because he had always had an interest in doing martial arts. His favorite part of training is the hands on application of the techniques and the cardio and strength benefits he gets from the workouts! Robert’s favorite food is a Spanish omelet and he enjoys traveling. cooking, camping, and being outside when not training! Robert’s advise to others is, “don’t believe that you are to old to get started, I started later and felt that I was much more mature to make the commitment that it takes.” Words of wisdom indeed! Robert is always helping others in the dojo and trains hard whenever he is on the floor!
