Student of the month for December 2022!

Congratulations to Esme Bender, our student of the month for December 2022! Esme started training at Carolina Martial Arts Center in April of 2021! She is currently a 9th kyu yellow belt and has been working hard to test for her next rank of 8th kyu. Esme is seven years old and is a second grader at Club Blvd. Elementary School where her favorite subject is math. She started training in karate because she wanted to learn self-defense and has a friend who comes to CMAC(thanks Lindsay). Her favorite part of class is kicking the heavy bag and doing kata. When she’s not in class Esme enjoys art, especially drawing. Her favorite foods are cheese and bread! Esme has really showed a lot of improvement in her technique and attitude lately, looking forward to seeing what else she will do.
