Student of the month for November 2023!

Congratulations to Arlo Bender, our student of the month for December 2023! Arlo started training at Carolina Martial Arts Center in March 2021 and just recently tested for 7th kyu. Arlo is ten years old and is a fifth grader at Club Boulevard Elementary School. Arlo’s favorite subject is science! Arlo had a choice between karate and taekwondo. Arlo had friends who were doing both and chose karate, thank you Lindsay Gardner! Arlo’s favorite part of class is learning and doing kata. Outside of class Arlo loves to read, play violin, and indoor rock climb.  Arlo’s favorite food is saag paneer, an Indian vegetarian dish made from spinach, other greens and Indian cottage cheese! Arlo says that you should “practice and work hard”! Great job Arlo!
