Student of the month for May 2024!

Congratulations to Archer Henry-Gotttschalk our student of the month for May 2024! Archer has really been working hard and has made a lot of improvement lately! He is 10 years old and a rising 5th grader at Camelot Academy. His favorite subject is math. Archer says his mom forced him to pick a sport and he chose karate and is glad his mom made him pick. Archer’s mom is a black belt in Tae kwon do and thought that martial arts would be good for him! As mentioned, mom did Tae Kwon Do for 13 years. “I am very familiar with instructors in the triangle area. Sensei Gurganus is the reason we chose CMAC: He is the kindest and absolute best instructor in the area.” Archer says, “Sensei is so nice! I love doing the katas. They are the best.” Outside of class Archer loves riding his bike, playing the piano, reading horror stories, driving remote control cars, and going on travel adventures. His favorite food is chicken from Alpaca (Peruvian Restaurant)! Archer’s advice to everyone is that hard work pays off! Indeed it does and great job Archer!
