Student of the month for November 2024!

Congratulations to Camila Arzuaga, our student of the month for November 2024! Camila started training at Carolina Martial Arts Center in October of 2022 and just recently tested for her 7th kyu! Camila is 10 years old and is in the fifth grade at Duke School. Her favorite subject is math. Camila started martial arts training in 2019 at NCMA (North County Martial Arts), in Carlsbad California. She started training because she wanted to learn things like punching, blocking, and kicking. Her favorite part of training is the katas(forms). Outside of class, she plays the piano, likes to play with Legos and play with her brother Oscar. Her favorite food is macaroni and cheese. She advises others to always work hard and try their best. An extra detail about Camila is that she shifted from training in Tang Soo Do, a Korean style at NCMA to Shito-Ryu, a japanese style here at CMAC. Camila has done a great job transitioning to a new style and attends both the beginner class and the color belt classes. Great job Camila!
