It is with great pleasure that I inform you that you have been selected to receive our 2025 Servant’s Heart Award. You are one of two nominees that were selected.

The mission of Civitan International is to support families and individuals affected by intellectual and developmental disabilities. We strive to raise awareness for these families and individuals and to partner with them to ensure their loved ones have the highest quality of life possible. Outside of their families, there are few who dedicate more of their lives to serving these individuals than the teachers, therapist, paraprofessionals and vocational teachers who work with and alongside them day in and day out.
The Servant’s Heart Award is our way of recognizing the unsung heroes in our community who unfailingly support these families and individuals. We are proud to recognize your work with the Deaf and Hard of Hearing Program at Hope Valley Elementary School.
We would like to invite you to be our Guest of Honor at our annual picnic on April 22. 2025 at the Hillsborough Exchange Club on 331 Exchange Club Lane, Hillsborough, NC at 6pm. You may also invite a guest to come with you. We have also invited Nicole and Shakira. I look forward to meeting you.
Kind Regards,
June Stilley, Chairperson 2025 Servant’s Heart Award Committee
