Jan. 23-24, Kill Devil Hills, NC!  27th annual Winter Spirit Camp was a great event with 50 participants.  Each session had several subjects and instructors to choose from!  Special training included a trip to Jockeys Ridge at sunset and training on the beach and in the waters of the Atlantic ocean.   Jan. 31, Master’s Memorial Seminar in Indian Harbor Beach, Fla.!  Hanshi Yoshiko Dometrich’s annual kobudo seminar worked on the sai kata, Kugusuku no sai!  Thirty black belts from Shorin-ryu, Shito-ryu, Isshin-ryu, and Uechi-ryu were in attendance and came from as far away as Canada.  This event is also practiced by dojo all over the world on the same day!
